   Likey Shoes Story

LIKEY Shoes are an analogy for the choice you can make when you are faced with a triggering situation. (A triggering situation is an emotional tripwire that invites you to drop to a low-state.) A person who is not aware that they have a choice, will instantaneously drop whenever they encounter triggering circumstances. We can use broken glass on the sidewalk as an analogy for the triggering circumstances.

Having your LIKEY shoes on, represents being in the high-state: a condition of positivity, creativity, high energy, peace, enthusiasm, fulfillment, confidence, courage, productivity, happiness, love, and well-being. This is the optimum state for dealing with anything in life, including the "glass". If you are in a situation where you must deal with some "glass", are you going to take off your shoes and go barefoot?

Broken glass in life is much easier to manage with your LIKE on. "Yes, but if X happens, it's just so hard to keep my LIKE on..."  Actually, it's much easier to keep your LIKE on than the alternative, no matter the condition. Turning the LIKE off, or taking one's shoes off is an analogy for the low-state: a state of low energy, fear, stress, feeling overwhelmed, unproductive, unloved, and a sense of scarcity.

If you can avoid the glass, that's an option too. But if, for whatever reason, you must go through some glass, would you rather deal with it well-protected and comfortable... the "easy way", or with fear, emotional cuts, and pain... the hard way. If you have the option to choose your state of being for dealing with life, why choose the hard way?

When faced with glass in life, explore the option of taking the easy way... keep your LIKE on, just for fun, and see what a difference it makes.

About Me

IMG_3443-001.jpg

Hi! My name is Stacy and I would like to share my journey of happiness. I have a mentor who is 100% happy all of the time. I didn't even realize that this was possible. Maybe I didn't even think it was healthy. I started being curious about how one goes about being 100% happy and started asking lots of questions. My life started changing after I grasped that it was a real possibility. I would like to share my experiences by painting you a picture of the old me in vivid contrast to the me that I am today. (well, the current version of me at least)
